We regularly educate our tenants on the importance of energy conservation, participate on the development teams of several energy organizations and provide training and greater awareness to our employees, clients, and industry peers.

For five consecutive years, Transwestern has been recognized by the EPA as an ENERGY STAR® Partner of the Year (2004, 2005) and as a Sustained Excellence Award Winner (2006 - 2008) for our outstanding contribution to reducing greenhouse gas emissions through leadership in energy management.

Transwestern is furthering its commitment to conserve energy and manage costs by implementing a new sustainability program across its national portfolio of managed properties. Working in partnership with fellow ENERGY STAR® award winner Sylvania, Transwestern initiated its Ready…Set…GREEN program.
